CLAUDE LE LOUARN
Claude Le Louarn is renowned among his peers for his creativity in the aesthetic field. He published 50 papers in scientific journals, and he was invited in many countries to make surgical demonstrations and talks.
In rejuvenation surgery, he was the first to proposed an anatomical mid-face lift : the Concentric Malar Lift (2004). In 2007, he is the first to assert with Didier Buthiau and Jacques Buis that contrary to the idea generally accepted in the scientific corpus, that the structural ageing process should be differentiated from gravity, since structural ageing is primary induced by the repeated contraction of the mimic muscles (Face Recurve Concept). In rejuvenation surgery, he develops and publishes with Jacques Buis at the same time, the appropriate medical and surgical techniques (Face Recurve Applications). His recent work in facial rejuvenation is concentrated on the lower face with the Hyo Neck Lift which enables to obtain more effective and sustainable results on the neck when performing cervico-facial surgeries.
In aesthetic medicine, Claude Le Louarn developed among other techniques: the use of variable concentrations in botulinum injections and is an expert in hyaluronic acid injections.
SPECIAL GUEST : MARIO PELLE-CERAVOLO
Mario Pelle-Ceravolo is a renowned expert in midface and neck surgery and the co-author with Giovanni Botti of two renowned books on the subject (Midface and neck Aesthetic Platic Surgey). He is the chief of Plastic Surgery at Mercede Hospital (Roma) and is teaching at the Master in Aesthetic Surgery, at the University of Padova Medical school
He did published about 60 papers in different languages (Italian, Portuguese, English) and was invited to Teaching Plastic Surgery Programs all over the world by “The Plastic Surgery Ambassador Plan”.
His last work on Transcutaneous Brow Shapping offers a precise method to lift and shape the eyebrows, which is indeed a decisive contributing factor in “made to measure” facial rejuvenation surgery.
Mario Pelle-Ceravolo is not only a scientist, but also a humanist deeply interested in the evolution and the issues of his specialty. Last but not least, the audience will just love his great sense of humor.
